Fishing
Destination Lagon offers lagoon and offshore fishing trips around Raiatea and Taha’a!
Depending on your preferences and the time you have, we can organise the perfect fishing outing to target the most beautiful species.
Lagoon fishing: light trolling, vertical jigging techniques, live bait fishing, bait fishing, etc.
Offshore coastal fishing: heavy trolling (big game), vertical jigging techniques.
We also offer a “fisherman’s lunch” served directly on board for maximum flexibility. In fishing, you should expect nothing but be ready for anything!
Since Marinalu builds strong, comfortable marine boats, they are ideal for safe navigation — even during strong winds (mara’amu). They are fully equipped for lagoon and offshore fishing sessions.
Our fibre boats come from the Raiatea Marine shipyard. They allow us to run excursions safely and comfortably across the lagoons of Raiatea and Taha’a.
While the Aito boat gives us great versatility, our Polynesian outrigger canoe offers a truly unique and authentic experience. In short, you will sail comfortably, either relaxing on the sunbed or the trampoline, to the rhythm of the ukulele.
