Cancellation and refund policy
Destination Lagon — applicable to all tour bookings
Free cancellation More than 48 hours before departure
Any cancellation made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure time entitles the customer to a full refund of the amount paid, less any banking fees applied by the payment provider.
Refunds are processed by credit/debit card via PayZen within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Late cancellation Less than 48 hours before departure
Any cancellation made less than 48 hours before departure will not be eligible for a refund, regardless of the reason (personal constraints, health issues, change of plans, etc.).
We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance through your insurer or travel organiser.
Weather-related cancellation Refund or rescheduling
The safety of our passengers is our absolute priority. In the event of adverse weather conditions (strong winds, heavy swell, official weather warning), Destination Lagon reserves the right to cancel any tour, even on the day of departure.
This decision is made unilaterally by our team, whose local expertise ensures your safety. It is final and cannot be disputed.
In the event of a weather-related cancellation, you will be offered the choice of:
- A full refund of the amount paid, via the original payment method (5 to 10 business days)
- A rebooking to a future date, subject to availability
You will be notified by email and/or phone as soon as possible.
No-show
Failure to show up at the scheduled departure without prior notice will result in the forfeiture of the full amount paid. No refund or rebooking will be offered.
Refund process
Refunds are processed exclusively by credit/debit card via the secure PayZen payment platform, to the card used at the time of payment. No cash refunds or bank transfers will be issued.
Credit timescales depend on your bank and may vary from 5 to 10 business days.
How to request a cancellation
All cancellation requests must be submitted before the 48-hour deadline, including your order number, the booking holder’s name, and the planned tour date:

The date and time of receipt of the email will be used to determine whether the 48-hour deadline has been met.
Governing law and disputes
This policy is governed by the law applicable in French Polynesia. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts of French Polynesia shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
